In the Spring, Summer and Autumn, the Courtyard and Patio areas are a happy place for people to meet for good food, conversation, and to relax. During the winter months, the snow and ice connote a frozen serenity.
This area contains the original Civil War fountain, which adorned the Lititz Square. It was acquired and restored by the Inn, to become the focal point of the Courtyard.
Many local artists have come to paint this Courtyard scene, as the images are original and very unique. A new addition (May, 2002) to this beautiful area, is a hand carved statue of General Sutter from an original tree which had to be cut.
